Save the date 19th July - Come along to TRACES 2025, a one-day outdoor art event featuring works of over 40 artists in celebration of the heritage and natural beauty of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park.
TRACES is a one-day outdoor art event inspired by the heritage and beauty of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park - one of the ‘magnificent seven’ Victorian cemeteries of London.
The event brings together the work of over 40 artists across painting, sculpture, printmaking, installation, spoken word, music, and performance, who have all created work in response to the park’s rich history and natural beauty.Â
The artworks and performances will be set along a walking trail, which you will be invited to wander at your own pace, while discovering the hidden beauty of the park – its elegantly decaying statues, graves and monuments all set within 31 acres of lush woodland, meadows, dales and ponds.
The event is open to all and will run from 1pm to 6pm. The official opening will take place at the Soanes Centre by the main entrance to the park around 1pm where everybody will be invited to join a musical procession along the artworks trail.
